Natsukashii is a modern homestyle Japanese restaurant brought to life by the Et Al. team.
The word “natsukashii” is Japanese for “nostalgia that hits you like deja vu,” an experience that people from all cultures experience when a bite of food transports them to wonderful memories of their past.
Our food and drink reflect this desire to connect deeply with our community through telling our real stories: we prefer meals that are delicious, unfussy, soulful; we prefer a vibe that is fun rather than fancy; and our hospitality is filled with an open-handed generosity and warmth rather than stale professional politeness.
Our Team
Et Al. is the name of our team and our philosophy of working (profit sharing and the core values), and Natsukashii is our first brick and mortar restaurant. No matter where we are cooking, whether it’s full time in the restaurant or a one-off pop-up, when we work together under this egalitarian spirit and way of sharing resources, we are the Et Al. team.
